At times, your health insurance company may ask for a prior authorization (PA) in order to process your medication(s) through insurance. This is simply to confirm with your insurance provider that your treatment plan is necessary. You can easily submit the request with your healthcare provider or reach out to our customer support team for assistance.

It's important to remember that submitting a prior authorization request does not automatically mean that your health insurance will cover the cost of your medication(s). In the event that your PA request is denied, you may have to pay out-of-pocket or work with your provider to find alternative medications that are covered by your insurance. We recommend calling your insurance before your appointment to verify which medications are covered.

Please keep in mind that the prior authorization process can take up to 10 business days and may vary based on how quickly your health insurance provider responds.
